After spending the day yesterday doing my fall cleaning, today I will be recyling some of my over abundance of Sheet sets, comforters, towels, and other household stuff.
Yesterday I tweeted that I was making Chicken Cordon Blue for supper and a wonderful suggestion of garlic mashed potatoes came up as a side dish with mushroom rissoto, Garry already put in his order for my mushroom hunter sauce, but I think the garlic mashed potatoes would make a loverly addition. Thanks Alberta

Spent the morning cleaning the old fridge, freezer and cleaning out the lining closet. Amazing how much you accumulate over the years. All cleaned up now.

Hello out there in blogland
Finally somthing new to write, I start my new job on Monday, March 2nd. I got the Photo Lab Managers job at the Trenton Wam-mart. I am very excited. I have been waiting to get transfered to the Trenton store for some time now. This is also a promotion for me that's real nice too. I can walk to work now plus I will be making more money. So thats the exciting new news for this week.
I hope everyone is looking forward to Mom's birthday party this fall. I have been checking everyday hoping to find a seat sale on West Jet or Air Canada but I can't book anything unitl I find out wheather or not Garry will be comming. So I will stay in touch till then

Not too much going on, keeping in touch with Anne about Mom's party. Took a look at plain and train fares, it will cost me the same to travel either way, so I think I will fly out of Toronto, land in Halifax and return the same. I can stay at Candice's on my trip there and back.
Me, Mom and our neighbour Val went to see Bride Wars Friday night, girls night out. It was funny and made for a good evening out. It's our break to avoid the winter blues when it gets too cold to do anything outside. We have an outdoor neighbourhood rink, I think it's about time to get those skates shappened and venture outside.
Catch you all later

For those of us still in blogland, I posted a few pictures of the wedding dress I started for Garry's sister but never got worn. It was made to fit a size 12-16 but can be altered to a size 10 if need be. I offered it to Melanie, if its not to her taste than I think it might be time to donate it somewhere. It is not doing anyone any good sitting in my sewing room, although it did come in handy when it came time to set up my dress dummy that I got for chirstmas. I am thinking of dressing it with all the creations I have made and keeping them in a album, you never know when I might try out for Project Runway. LOL

Of course we didn't have enough of our own snow, Garry is out doing the neighbours driveways as well. If it keeps him busy who am I to stop him

A view of the snow storm we are getting from my front door. I was going to take a picture of the house but I was not going out in this. Its too bad you cant actually see the snow falling. It definately looks like Christmas at my house.
Gee I wonder what Garry will be doing today.

This is the view from my bedroom window. We just got the snow cleared from the storm we got on Friday and here it comes again.

Sorry no pictures of us all dressed up for the theater. We had fun, the restaurant was nice they had prime rib and thats what most of us had. The play Naughty Robin Hood was really fun and naughty. We got home at 11pm but it was worth staying up late for.

I usually do my christmas decorations the first sunday in December. Steve, Sheila, Christopher and Amanda came to visit on the America Thanksgiving and they will not be coming for christmas and today is the first Sunday of Advent, so I put the decorations up. I also took my annual family christmas photo of the Hawes while they were here. Its snowing here now, so it really looks nice outside now with the decorations and the lights.

Looking forward to going to the Stirling Theater in two weeks. This years pantomine is Robin Hood, a romp through Sure Would forrest. Last year was Ponocio and when he told a lie, it wasnt his nose that grew. I think this is our fifth year. We go for supper at Platters across the road from the theater. This year there is 10 of us going so it should be a fun night. I have four extra tickets if anyone is interested in showing up and comming with us. Let me know before I sell them off. Two couples backed out this week, but I am not worried about selling the tickets because these shows are always sold out and I had to buy mine in June. No camera's allowed so I wont be able to post pics of the play, but I will take some of us all dressed up.

Hello out there for all of you still in Blog land, just checking in. Everyone here is good, mom and I will be going for our flu shots tomorrow. We had a little bid of snow, but nothing stayed on the ground . We did not get anything near what Barrie or Toronto got, it is like we are in a little bubble and everyone around us got hit and it missed us. I am sure we will get our share soon enough. That's all for now, not much else new except that Garry and I are going to be little willi's godparents, SWEET. Thanks Henry for thinking of us.
