Well it sounds like Team Crocket is well on its way to reaching it's goal. I will pledge $50.00. Let me know who needs on your team needs it the most. If one of you is falling behind on your pledges let me know and that's where I will put it. Of course if you are competing against each other, the first one to answer me gets it.
Have fund and Good Luck.

Well, it was almost divorce time when I showed up with six, yes six bags of material. We had this sale where all discontinued material was $1.00 a meter. I could not pass up a bargain like that. It would not have been so bad, if I didn't already have 10 totes of material already. But this stuff was nice and I couldn't say no. Garry was not impressed. But I promised him no more, and so the next day I came home with two more and didn't tell him.
I am in the process of finishing off 4 quilts for our craft sale at work for our relay for life team. I also promised one to Candice for her school fundraiser. I have everything cut our and I already have two of them sewed, I just need to cut the seams and wash them.
Not much going on here, just lots of snow like everybody else. Looking forward to Mom coming home so she can help me with all my projects.
This years realy theme is lets put cancer to bed. We have this canopy that we are going to make up like a canopy bed. We are going to put two queen size air mattresses down to make the bed, and that way we can all wear our PJ's to go with our theme. It's not until the end of June so there is alot of time and we already have our theme and costumes so the only thing left is to get pledges. We are having a craft sale at work with everyone on the team donating something to sell and then Wal-mart will match whatever we raised and I am planning a yard sale with the money being used for my pledges. Hopefully, everything goes according to plan.

Blog?Blog? Wait I remember Blogging!
Some of you proberly thought I forgot how to blog. No it's just been a very busy time for me.
I lost a friend, and the husband of a friend, and found out a co-worker has just finished another round of Chimo and still no good news. So I have been kind of in a funk.
We finished up all the fundraising for Grand Opening which happened in December. All the cheques have arrived and we have started delivering them. People love you when you give them money.
We raised and gave away $21,000.00. We made $3000.00 recycling our old metal fixtures and donated the money to the Boy Scouts for their Re-Forestation Project. We fiqured we raised the money by recycling, it should go back into recycling.
My car is beyond wonderful, great, fantastic, did I miss anything. Great on gas, rides beautifuly,
and has a heated drivers seat, which in this cold weather we have been getting, well, my behind is very happy.
Candice and I went to the Relay for Life breakfast last Saturday. We will be going into it hot and heavy at the end of Februay. Everyone at work is kind of charitied out right due to our Grand Opening so we are all taking a break from fundraising until then.
Candice is moving to TO at the end of March. She will be doing her internship with the Canadian Women Institute. They are like the United Way but for Women's issues. She will be staying with one of Garry's cousins while she is there, because she does not get paid for on internship. The lady who she is dealing with said that during her intership she will be dealing with alot of womens charities and organization and will help Candice get a job. Candice is also waiting to hear from a company call Manifest in TO. They already asked for her portfolio and want to set up an interview. This is who she would really like to work for. They are a PR firm who deal with social issues. They are the company responsible for the Canadian Tire Free Skate and the Tim Horton's free Swim Programs. Thing are going very good for her.
Garry has been digging us out of the snow and the neighbours as well since 6am and he is still at it taking a break now and then. we had 3 feet of snow in our driveway and the ice pellets from last night froze everything solid.
My dryer buzzer just went off. Oh well back to the housework.

Here is my spooky holloween house. The older kids are Val's and Al's twins with the kid from the end of the road and the little one is Kayla. I though mom would like to see them. The big kid on the steps belong to the devil. Pretty creepy looking at night wasn't it. And I had one of those creepy holloween cd's playing. All that was missing was a little fog. Maybe I should pick up a machine while they are on sale.

Ah, the famous front porch. Thanks to Jeremy's visit, I have another victim to my collection.
As you can see from the pictures below, we had a busy day, it started with a trip to World's Famous Chocolate, then we went to the suspention bridge, you can see a picture of the view from the middle of the bridge, then off the hold up the world's largest tooni, then to a Japenesse resturant for lunch. The lady in the white jacket is our neighbout Nicole. Her and her husband are from the US and he is here working for a couple of years at the paper mill, so we brought her along to show her some of the exciting things to do. Tommorrow we will visit a few galleries and do some pumpking carving. After all I have an artist in the house, I might as well take advantage of it right.

I should have posted these a long time ago. Gord and Peggy McKay came for visit this summer. Gord is Alice's husband, Clarance's brother. They were our neighbour and friends from Barrington Passage. This is their grand-daughter. She is the same age her mother was when we left Barrington. How time passes.

OMG!!!!!!
I can't believe that it has been over a month since I blogged anything, but I have gotten better at facebook. I have been busy with holloween costumes and such so I am very sorry for not noticing my lack of communication earlier.
Everything is good, I go to the Doctor's tommorrow and if this last set of blood test come out clear than that the end of my liver issues. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I have been feeling better since my colonoscopy though, so that's good. At this point I think it's just menopause and old age finally cathing up to me. So to beat it at it's own game, I colored by grey. Yes, I know I said I wasnt going to anymore, but YTH, it took ten years off me. Better , and cheaper than Botox.
I am looking forward to Jeremy comming for a visit this week, I have a few fun things planned. I will let him tell everyone about it afterwards. I don't want to ruin any of the surprises.
Candice is loving her PR course at Loyalist. They did a United Way fundraised last week and made $2000.00 from the class playing Deal or No Deal with the students. She was happy with their results. She has to start planning for another one in May. This one is going to be an Art Show featuring local female artist, so there will be alot of work involved so she proberly have to quite her job at Wal-mart and put all her efforts into this. It looks like she already has her internship with Girl Guides of Canada, at their main office in Toronto and it is looking very good for her to actually get a job with them out of this. But then she can alway change her mind before the spring.
I will try to do better with the blogging, but it is hard with the weather being so nice and the amount of time I already spend indoors sewing, something has to be aside until the cold weather gets here so I hope everyone understand. Until next time.

Hi folks, it's been awhile. Nothing too new at this end. Candice is working once again for Walmart the shoe dept. This time its at my walmart. She got her car and once again I am free.
Weather is getting colder, so not so much pool time, hence the time to blog. Soon as it gets really cold out I will be visiting the bloggers more often. I don't want to waste any nice days inside if I don't have to. So one day soon, I will return.

Hello everyone out there in Blogger land. Here's the latest.
As predicted, nothing was found during my colonoscopy. The Dr says proberly just some gasteral intestnal thing, watch what I eat. That the problem, I do, I watch everything that I eat. It still doesn't mean it's good for me. No salt and cut back on the fatty foods. Oh boy, looks like the over eaters anynomas club is getting a new member.
Candice has her G2 and will be the proud owner of a 1996, hundai elantra wagon as of this time tomorrow. Insurance is only $132 a month for her, which I think is good for being a first time car owner and having it all under her own name. It only has 94,000 k's on it and it was a one owner vehicle. It is in really good shape and the boys at Orville's where we bought it gave it a really good going over, new breaks, tune up, oil change, safety, and e tested all for $2850.
They even took care of the registration and everything the insurance company wanted as well.
We just have to show up with a cheque and it's all hers.
She will now be able to get herself back and forth to school and not have to come in with me at 6.30am when two of her classes don't even start until 10am and there's two nights she is there until 6pm. That would have been too long of a day for her.
It's has been too cold to swim since Thursday and I am having withdrawls. I actually ahve tan and I want to keep it for as long as I can. Hopefully the weather will get better soon. I would like to get at least one or two more weeks out of it before we have to winterize it.
